Andrew Miramonti

As founder and director of Manhattan Guitar Institute, Andrew’s mission is to bring world-class guitar education to New York City and online anywhere in the world. Andrew is an expert guitar instructor with 20 years of professional teaching experience. He has developed college curriculums for group guitar classes. He tailor makes step-by-step, individualized courses for each student for guide them in reaching their goals.

Andrew’s area of expertise is teaching fingerstyle guitar, rock, pop guitar, soul, funk, r&b, acoustic strumming, electric lead, soloing and improvisation slide guitar, as well as music theory, ear training, songwriting and guitar composition. 

In addition to his private teaching and teaching at MGI, Andrew has served as an adjunct guitar professor at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. He has taught at many reputable music schools in the New York City area, including Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Music Center, New York City Guitar School, and Bergen Academy of Music and Art.
